Booked a 2 night stay using secret Escapes. Garden room was comfy and spacious and slept well. Lovely big bath although the shower head dripped all night long! Thankfully the tapas menu had been replaced with £20 each per night to spend on the evening menu. The cocktails as promised each night weren’t forthcoming but this was resolved, but it’s a shame the staff aren’t aware of what has been offered in the first place. Service was a little hit and miss with inexperienced staff. Breakfast was a good choice. There is no parking on-site but hotel can help with where to park. Parking on street is fine after 6pm until 10am the next day. Sainsburys near by offer 2 hours free parking. Thame is a lovely market town with lots of places to eat and drink and would probably next time opt for b&b and eat elsewhere in the evening.

Nice little hotel in town. Rooms are simple enough, but wouldn't bother with the breakfast. I had full English and it was lacking in quality...but the actual place was ok and staff super helpful

Spacious rooms, comfy bed. Breakfast was a letdown. We attended a wedding at the Hotel and the food provided was really good. Poor choice of drinks on taps. There are plenty of Pubs in Thame, they really should do a bit better.

Afternoon tea for 16 people. Chef catered for the picky eaters marvellously. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff were attentive, cheerful, and nothing was too much effort. So good that we are returning for another celebration next month. The staff set up the tables so that we could all talk to each other and move about, and the birthday girl could chat to all her guests. Very comfortable room and seating.

We are locals so haven't needed the rooms but have enjoyed the bar service and tonight, a special birthday dinner. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food was really good. Thanks for a lovely evening and we all felt looked after.

Great stay overall. The deluxe suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a great bed and a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety of fresh and hot options — definitely a highlight. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

Got married here a year ago, and it was perfect. Fast forward spent our anniversary here food was gorgeous !! Looking for a roast then spread eagle has you covered !! Crab cakes starter very tasty, roast beef with all the trimmings the beef just melted in your mouth. The hotel is over 400 years old and has bucket loads of character. Quirky , comfortable and just gorgeous. If your looking for a cold, modern been there got the t shirt hotel with a average brekki this hotel is not for you. Highly recommend.

We went to The Spread Eagle for afternoon tea and had a lovely time. The manager and staff gave us their full attention and made the experience very enjoyable. My 11 year old niece who had never had afternoon tea before, thoroughly enjoyed herself with the delicious scones and sweet treats
